Or even a global “abs” mode where any negative values would be just converted to positive as my lasers are mounted at 3m and I cannot lase below that height.
It’s an interesting idea for sure! Scares the hell out of me in terms of implementation, error checking and documentation though…
I also don’t think it’s the right solution to your issue, having a narrow vertical range of motion is extremely common in lasering. So make yourself a very thin zone so content can NEVER go outside the zone limits. You should always control the output of your lasers by restricting the zone size, not adjusting the clips themselves.
I guess the custom maths thingie could be at the bottom of the nice to have things in your backlog.
I found the abs() tho in Wave Shift by Position and added 180 degree Rotation and got the effect I wanted.
Zones are definitely set up in a way that I’m never lasing outside of the safe zone.
