Liberation Forum Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Liberation public forum at
https://forum.liberationlaser.com (the “Forum”).

These terms apply only to use of the Forum. Use of the main Liberation website and the Liberation software is governed by separate terms.

Access to the Forum is provided using the same account system as the Liberation website, through a single sign-on system operated by Seb.ly Ltd (“we”, “us”).

Use of the Forum

You may use the Forum only if you are legally permitted to do so and comply with these terms.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Forum if you breach these terms or disrupt the community.

Acceptable Use

You must not use the Forum in a way that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or disruptive.

In particular, you must not:

  • Break the law
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
  • Post spam or unsolicited promotions
  • Circumvent security or moderation controls
  • Place unreasonable load on the Forum or automate access
  • Encourage others to breach these terms

Content

You are responsible for content you post.

You must not post content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, defamatory, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or contains malicious code.

You retain ownership of your content. By posting to the Forum, you grant us permission to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Forum.

Moderation

We may moderate the Forum to protect the community. This may include editing or removing content, or restricting forum access.

Moderation actions apply to forum access only and do not affect your software licence.

Accounts

Forum access requires a Liberation account and is linked through single sign-on.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details secure.

Disclaimers

You use the Forum at your own risk.

The Forum is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the Forum.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Forum after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
