This may be a more stylistic thing of the way I play, but I wanted to throw out the idea to see if/how it might be able to be implemented.
I often assign groups to different zones in order to use color coordination on the APC40 to visually identify which clips are going on which actual laser zones when busking/jamming. I also do this with canvas zone assignments for graphics placement. I would like for the group assignment to automagically reassign the zones of a selected clip. That way if I like a piece of content in my clip deck but want to place it elsewhere, I can just hold group and reassign it to a different group and therefore zone rather than having to option-click the clip and reassign zones manually or assign the group then hold the group and manually redo zone assignment for all clips in that group.
For the same reason of reassigning zones more easily, it would also be nice to have parity on the APC40 of the alt/option+clip select functionality to select clips without activating them, as mentioned in this thread.
I understand this may not be desirable for everyone, so maybe there could be a toggle option to select this behavior.
