So I was searching for a way to sync tempo from an external source in a live environment. My issue was ‘What if none of the devices have a midi connection’?
So I did some looking and found this nice little app called Waveclock. I DL’ed it for MAC, but I think it is also available for PC.
I ran an audio signal into my computer and selected my audio input within the app. Then selected my iac device as the output, and the same as the input in Liberation. The tempo locked dead on! I was amazed at how accurate it was. Exactly what I was hoping to find.
Thanks Kevin, it’s been mentioned here before so it’s always worth searching the forum if you’re after a particular solution - perhaps the search system isn’t the best.
But yes! I’ve had success with waveclock in the past although it does seem a bit abandoned.
