Synchronising Liberation with the DJM900

So… yes, you can get MIDI clock straight from the DJM 900NXS2 into Liberation.
The way I found worked best, was to have it set to AUTO on the mixer (Toggle AUTO/TAP button) - that gets it to analyze the tempo of what’s being played.

Set Beat FX selector to Master (so it’s analysing the tempo of the master output)

Plug your laptop you are using for Liberation into one of the USB ports on the top left of the mixer.

Then select the DJM900NXS2 as the MIDI sync port in Liberation.
It keeps time pretty well, although it struggles to figure out what the first beat of the bar is, so I was using the RESET button in the tempo window to re-sync to the first beat of the bar.
