No music output from timeline?

Hi!

I’ve dropped an MP3 in the timeline and it seems to work, but i don’t hear any audio when playing the timeline. Is this intended or how do i change the audio output settings?

Hi Dennis!

It should play out of whichever interface is your system default. Some things to check :

  • is your tempo source set to TIMELINE? The timeline can only play audio if it’s using its own tempo source.
  • Check the volume, both in the timeline block right click menu, and in the timeline bar

Failing that, I’m not sure. Maybe try sending me the audio file and I’ll give it a try.
