Hi @seb
I wanted to prepare a music synced show.
Therefore I added a mp3 file to the timeline.
Is there no audio output when playing the timeline?
How is the best way to create a music synced show?

Yes apologies that’s my bad. The timeline file that comes with the distribution is muted.

I’ll make a more detailed post about this issue but the short fix is :

  • close liberation
  • find the timeline.json file inside data/liberation folder
  • change the volume setting from 0 to 1
  • save the file and reload liberation

I have tried the solution but it doesn’t work for me. My computer is a MacBook pro 2015 Monterrey.
And one more question
Should the sound wave be seen in the song clip?

Can you send me the timeline.json file ?

The waveform is not currently displayed in the timeline (it’s surprisingly difficult to do but I will add it in the future!)

[EDIT] might also be worth sending me the audio file!
[EDIT 2] the data folder should be in your user/Documents/Liberation/0.0.5 folder.

Perfect!
I was modifying the application package file.
Now it works well!!!

Because of the wave on the timeline I understand its difficulty, the program right now is already incredible, I’m sure it will improve a lot over time, there is no doubt.
