My first timecoded shows in Liberation!

hey, just wanted to show off my first little project, im usually a techno head, but these are heavy metal(as a surprise for my sister who loves metal, haha) it was a lot of fun, but i really wish the timeline record feature would record everything, like the effects also, but especially, when busking, i love to play with the speed, like making it slow and fast depending on the music, i get that thats essentially temporarily changing the bpm, but it if that would work in the timeline, making everything slow motion or fast, that would be amazing!

enjoy:

But probably wont work, i Programmed it specifically for this space, since theres beams going above and below me

hello Simon, are you available to share file of show with me? I will not use it anywhere just to check how you program some stuff?

Many thanks in advance

sure, i cant send it here it says unsupported fileformat, whats your email

Hi @gostey let me know what file format you’re trying to upload and I’ll add it. Or else email it to me and I can share it. Thanks!

PS this is really great work, thanks for sharing @gostey !

thanks!

the file format is .ltml, right? i just exported my timelines within liberation, weirdly it gave me only one file for both timelines

I used to email unsupported apps by changing the extension to like .jpg. Recipient would change it back to proper extension. Works like a charm. Is that a possibility with this, here? Would save some steps for all involved.

OK I’ve added .ltml to the allowed extensions. If you’re happy for the timeline to be pubic please post it here! (It may also be worth exporting the lprj as well)

When you export timelines, you can choose which timelines you want to export, and they’re all included in the same file. Notice that you also have options on how to save the clips.

Seb

timeline meet your maker born to be epic.ltml (4.0 MB)

hey, heres my timeline, looks like i can send it here now thanks to @seb , sorry for the late reply! happy new year.

btw i dont know if the timeline works for you since i used a specific setup for my zones. i basically have a big zone per laser, then 3 small zones per laser in the upper half, hope that helps

Hi @gostey - if you export your whole project,( File->Export->Export Project) then everything gets saved, including the laser set up, timeline and all the clips, so that might be a good option.

Thanks for sharing!

my project.lprj (4.5 MB)alright i tried that, so this includes all of my timelines?

while doing this im thinking, are you gonna add some sort of community hub within liberation someday where people can upload and download other peoples timelines? that would be such a killer feature

Hello Simon, thank you very much for sharing your timeline.

@seb questions for you. @gostey shared project with us but when you import project there is all but there is no song inside, why? song need to be import separetly or ?

Thank you

Great question! Media isn’t included with any Liberation exports, instead Liberation looks in the same directory as the file to find sound files.

This is probably a good thing as Simon likely does not have permission to give away the copyrighted music to you

Probably best to provide Amazon MP3 purchase links for the songs, then you can re-import them into the timelines.

Hope this helps!

Seb

understand, very nice.

the songs are Meet your maker by in flames, and Born to be epic by equilibrium, if you get it working let me know what you think haha

Thanks a lot for sharing your project @gostey ! It’s an amazing way to learn the whole process, appreciate that! and by the way - great job on these shows!

100% the audio tracks should be purchased if you’re doing anything in public…

For playing around, I find this very very useful (software is legal): https://videoconverter.wondershare.com/

I think it’s about $80 for a lifetime license.. I think I’ve transferred my license to at least 3 different computers in succession over the years.
