There are so many (for me: too many) different import/export separate settings-features in menu. But I simply need a “save complete project” feature (timeline/clips/laser settings/…).
I had expected that the “Export project”-feature exports timeline aswell. But it does not, or?
Project files should include the entire state of Liberation, but it doesn’t yet include the timeline including the timeline. All export / import features need testing so please let me know if anything is missing!
The types of file are :
Laser Settings : Lasers, zones, canvas target areas, 3D visualiser settings
Project : Everything, (except experimental features ie timeline)
Clips / Effects : The clip deck and effects, along with group settings
Timeline : saves and loads the timeline but doesn’t yet copy or bundle audio files.
DMX/Artnet : DMX zones and artnet IP settings

OK so it turns out that I was wrong when I said :

I tested this yesterday and it does indeed save the timeline in with the Project file. The only thing it doesn’t do is package up the sound files as part of the file, it’s just a reference to the file, wherever it is.
