Will File → Project → Export Project save everything related to the project? Or do I also need to export using ‘Laser Settings’ ‘Clip/Effects’ ‘Timeline’ ‘DMX / Artnet’
Similar question, will ‘Clear Project’ return to all default settings?

It should do yes! As of the current version 0.7.3 it exports :
- Clip deck, effects and group settings
- DMX zones and Artnet settings
- Beam zones
- Canvas zones, settings and target areas
- Laser set-up, all laser settings
- Tempo settings
- MIDI send/receive settings
- Timeline and all its settings
There are a few things it doesn’t currently save, but I will be adding in future :
- Sound input settings (for the sound input oscillator)
- MIDI input settings (for MIDI creator node)
- Unused presets (laser settings, 3D vis settings etc), although it does save your current setting for all of those things.
- DAC names - if you’ve renamed your DACs that will be saved as part of your Liberation install, so you may lose custom names if you move to a different computer. But it will save the actual DAC configurations.
I have been working on this functionality so please test it in the latest build 0.7.3.
OK I’ve just looked at the code and it :
- Deletes all the clips
- Deletes all the timelines
So clearly I’ve got some work to do there!
You can also use “Reset all lasers to default”, which should clear all the beam/canvas zones, reset all the laser settings, and add a default beam zone for each laser. Again needs testing!
