can we please undock everything? I have a second monitor & touchscreen display. would be so helpful!!
Hi @marco,
Do you mean being able to move panels or windows outside of the main app? If so, that’s something I’d genuinely love to support, especially for multi-monitor or touchscreen setups.
It does require a fairly major reworking of the interface though, so it’s not something I can promise in the near future. That said, it’s definitely on my radar and it’s really helpful to know it would be useful for you.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Seb
Thats exactly what I mean. I tend to use alot of the tabs, and it always gets so crowded. It would be very nice. Thanks’
I would add my support for this change too. Having the visualiser and the main controls on one screen, and all the other tabs on another would really help my workflow.
In the meantime I’m using a rather large monitor. Great for home, not so great for gigs ![]()
Even without the changes I’d like to see, Liberation is still the best laser software out there. Happy bunny here!
Thanks @amosQuito! I think having the option to put certain things on a second screen might be an easier task*, it’s already on the list, I’ll take a look in the new year.

*famous last words lol
I’ll tag on this one. It would make it amazing to be able to organize and program quicker. Also would make it easier to use the touch screen especially if i could get the visualizer and the clip building not on top of each other
Pulling this back around again. Really feel that this would be super beneficial. Aspecially with timelines and clip building. The screen just gets to cluttered slowing down work flow.
If you are not in full screen you can drag the frame into monitor 2 to make a larger design area. (Cntrl F key) With magnification / zoom you can leave it high resolution and zoom in as needed.
Edit- My bad. This didn’t work on Mac for me. I have an early recollection of this working on Windows. I’ll look into OS settings when I get a minute.
Hi Seb,
I would really appreciate this feature, as i use my ipad in combination with my macbook as a secound screen.
I’ve used that some what of a work around. But, its not exactly what Im talking about. It also still doesn’t let you separate the visualization from the clip deck or put the clip editor on another location then on top of the visualizer.
So you can drag main window in Mac to second. You just have to extended it all in monitor 1 then shimmy it over. If you drag all nodes over once, it’s a shorter distance to drag. If you arrange your physical monitors top/ bottom rather than SBS, technically you can put visualizer, large, unobstructed top or bottom and clip editor above or below. Thank you for the request. I’ve learned something today ![]()
