after using Liberation for a bit now i still have some things on my wishlist
multi screen support, i would LOVE to be able to put the 3d render on a 2nd screen and use the UI with a Touchscreen… ive seen people use screens with weird resolutions/aspect ratios that could be really great for specific windows (like timeline
the APC40MK2 does not have a Alt Zone button, this would be great to have
on startup (in windows at least) liberation always starts its window somewhere a bit off screen, a option to start fullscreen would be great, or else start maximized windowed…
would it be great to be able to have a square wave able to turn on and off another effect? (connect line to the on/off button)
when rotating a line with a (sawtooth) wave i can only rotate it 180 degrees, if i want 360 i need to use a separate rotation node, why?
Thanks Stijn, really appreciate the wishlist! And sorry for the delay, I’m trying to stay a bit more on top of the forum recently but this one slipped through.
Multi-screen support would be awesome, I’d love to add that.
I’ll look at making Alt Zone work on the APC40 MK2 too - any suggestions as to which button? It’s a safety feature so it would have to be behind a modifier like shift or ALT. Perhaps it could be ALT-ARM ?
Good shout on startup - an option to open fullscreen/maximised is definitely on the list. Ideally I’d like it to remember the screen size from last time but I know apps sometimes open off screen so it’s probably something I need to consider before acting.
Square wave as an on/off toggle is a great idea, or maybe if I add a “level” operator to all nodes. That way a square wave will turn it on or off, but other waves will still work.
I’ve extended line rotation from -180 to +180 so you can get the full 360 in the next build.
i want to add one more thing to my list, during the ADE shows i ran into a minor issue that i was actively playing a clip, and scrolled away to another page, forgot what group current clip is in and resorting to use stop all groups button (on APC40) could the groups buttons also light up/change colors like the clips do when something is active in that group?
