I am working on combining and organizing clip decks that have so graciously been provided and shared by competition winners @Lwsfin @Charlemagne_Magboo , @cdilija @Hagop_Heath-Matossia, as well as @seb 1.0.2 deck , the deck shared by @Eyes2theSkies , and some of my own (to be shared with everyone after approvals by those who shared their clips).
I categorized by: Still shapes (only the first 23, all others have movement), dot(s), line(s), lines made of dots without connecting light between each dot, connected lines, sine waves, circles made of dots not connected, full circle connected, triangles, squares, fast-moving clips (some duplicates), multiple shapes/beams being projected at once, complex/animated clips, and finally clips made for the red (hold for output).
The red is the only one with a real purpose. Otherwise, green is complex/animated, orange is fast-moving / multiple shapes, purple is squares, triangles, circles, and sine wave, and blue is dots, lines, and static (still) shapes.
What purpose do you give to your clips by identifying groups? Both on limited clipdecks used for a single project, as well as master clipdecks.
Thanks in advance for sharing your use cases!

EDIT- I seem to have skipped the user manual section on groups, which gives this use for groups other than separating by clip types:
