You were right.
The language of the system just had to be changed to English.
That’s so messed up! What language was it on? If I can recreate this here it’ll be so much easier to troubleshoot.
I used Finnish language.

I can confirm if i change the language to english it works fine! My default language is german.
Sorry, i couldn’t post the entire console output message, because it was to many Characters for the forum system.

Thank you all for your help, I can now recreate the issue on my local laptop by changing the language which is a huge help. Although I have to debug it in German haha. I will let you know how I get along!

OK so good news is that I fixed the issue. Bad news is that I don’t really understand what caused it in the first place. All I did was reformat and simplify the SVG files and now they work.
So to recap - some SVG files mysteriously don’t parse when your system is set to German, Finnish, French, and maybe other languages as well! And once one doesn’t parse, no further SVGs can load. Only on Windows 10 and 11, maybe not older versions, seems OK on 8?
All I can say is : LOL.
And there’s two days of my life I’m not getting back haha
