Hey have any of you seen this issue in the clip editor on Windows? With blank nodes?
It seemed to get fixed with a video driver update but it’d be good to know how widespread it is and whether this is a definitive fix. Let me know!

I am just noticing these emails. I think it is so cool that the laser platform Liberation is a true community. I used to own a production company and now just do this as a hobby.
I am crazy busy with my full time career but I plan on getting more involved. Last week was the first time I started using Liberation. Thankfully, my APC40 is very native to me since I used to run lighting using it. MIDI mapping is my jam for sure.
I will be more involved in this community in the future. Hopefully, I can can attribute to this community.
Anywho… I look forward to talking with alm of you!

I have this same problem with windows.
Hey Markus, ah interesting! Could you let me know your windows version and hardware specs, and try updating your video drivers to see if that helps?
Thanks
Seb

I will try the update next
Hi Seb. I am running Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22631.3737] and have the same problem. Upgraded display driver, without any improvement. If I start Liberation.exe in compatibility mode (Window 8), the display is correct in the Clip Editor, but the startup time for Liberation is 1 minute or something like that. Hope this helps a bit with troubleshooting. /Jann Sigurd
The image above is in compatibility mode (Windows 8 mode), and below is the normal setup (Windows 10 mode)
Thanks Jann, it’s very confusing, I can’t see any obvious difference here between the ones that work and the ones that don’t! If I could replicate the issue here I could experiment to see which graphics break and which don’t (they’re actually SVGs being loaded in)
Can you try updating your video drivers to see if it fixes it?
Thanks!
Seb
Oh and could those testing see if it happens in the older version as well please? 0.5.0? Thanks!
Seb
Tried to update my drivers, but it doesn’t help.
Also tried this with another laptop and it had the same problem.

Intel HD 620
Win 10 Pro 22H2
update & confirm:
With Win 8 mode it works, but opens slowly.
same problem with 0.5.0 version.
I updated the video drivers after your post earlier today, but that didn’t fix the problem. That’s why I tried to change compatibility. It has helped in the past on other programs. I have tried to change the graphics card settings, without the problem in the clip editor disappearing. I will now make some settings on graphics cards on some different Windows machines, and report back if I find any system in the problem.
I have no problem with Liberation 0.6.0B6/B6b on win10.

If you are having this issue can you check if you have an intel graphics card? We may have a link!
I have a Huawei laptop with Intel integrated grapics and a dedicated Nvidia MX250 grapics card. I dont know which grapics card Liberation uses, but I have tried to force the computer to use both the instegrated Intel graphics and the dedicated Nvidia MX250 graphics. The issue in clip editor appears to be present with both configurations.

Are any of you still getting this issue or was it fixed with a graphics driver update? Let me know, thanks!
Seb
Win 10 user with Nvidia RTX 3080 and haven’t had an issue in the 5h of usage so far.
Not fixed, but I have been able to live with it. I’ve tried with 4 different computers and Intel and NVIDIA graphics.
In use now Geforce RTX 4050 and Win 11, but not working
OK if you’re still having this issue can you run this little test app for me and screen shot the results?
When you run it it should look like this :
Thanks in advance!
