The work you do is just crazy!
For the timeline I’m delighted. Here it is in beta version, but I think you should make a completely separate page. A “timeline editor” mode. Maybe also drag and drop effects directly?
I also find the zoom very slow with the mouse wheel. Maybe an alt-wheel to go faster?

Check my recent update for upcoming timeline improvements, I think you’ll like them. I’m aiming for a test version for you to try before the end of the month.
The zoom seems to be wayyyy slower on Windows than Mac, who knows why. I’ll probably just make it faster on Windows for now but eventually it will be customisable.
