Right now I need to right click on a clip to change duration. That is not intuitive enough 
thank you for the suggestion and I agree, this was always the plan (along with drag to timeline).
I’m happy to get your suggestions but perhaps I didn’t make it clear; the timeline is an experimental demo to test the functionality only. The interface needs a lot of refinement and will be the next thing I work on.
