Hi all!
Used liberation to busk an underground event for 7 hours on Friday night. Absolutely love the interface…so intuitive!
A couple questions:
-Is there a way to delete an element within the clip creator? Like say I add an oscillator or effect, don’t like what it does and want to get rid of just that node out of the clip. Can’t find how to do this in documentation. Currently I just “undo” until it’s gone but that’s clunky.
-Is there any way currently to share clips? I would love some kind of repository ala Pangolin Cloud, or even a way to send clip files directly back and forth…Is this a thing? Can this be a thing?
-What are people doing for live tempo matching? Is there a simple way to take an input from the music source through a DAW like Ableton and convert that into something Liberation can pull tempo from?
(and/or, would love a “tempo from audio source” option eventually…)
-Also I would LOVE a way to cue up changes, then fire them off all at once, like a “Hold” or “Freeze state” sort of button - so I can pick a different clip and have different effects all hit at once.
Select the node and hit the DELETE key, should work, let me know if it doesn’t! (I should also add a DELETE button to the right click menu… )
Eventually I’ll do something fancy and online but for now you can export your clip deck in the file menu. I would delete all the clips you don’t want saved (drag a lasso around them and then drag them off the clip deck to delete them), then export the ones you want to share.
When re-importing you can use “Append Clip Deck” to add them to your existing clips.
I would love that too, it’d be a fun coding challenge, right up my street! But for now you can use the third party app Pulse which seems to work OK. I think I prefer WaveClock but I’m not sure if it’s still being developed.
This is something I’ve been pondering for a while, it’ll definitely happen at some point but it’s low on the list as it’s complex technically.

@seb Would it be possible to add a “Export selected clips” option to the menu to make exporting easier?
Also, being able to export an image of the clip thumbnail too would be cool, we (community) would then easily make a visual way of sharing them online somehow.
