Hello,

Love the software, still getting up to speed with it but wanted to find out if it is possible (or planned) to control Liberation over DMX? I want to be able to trigger different clips using DMX over Artnet so that my other lighting software can change what the lasers are doing.

Hey Oli! Glad you’re enjoying it so far!

No DMX input control (yet) but you can control Liberation via MIDI. I think I go over it in one of the zoom calls, have a look back through the recordings.

Thanks Seb. I guess I can build a DMX->Midi converter to make that work.

Any update to this? I want to control Liberation via Artnet with something like QLC+ and/or SoundSwitch. Not seeing the artnet node show up though

There’s more about MIDI mapping in the user guide :

So yes at the moment you would need to use a tool to convert ArtNet / DMX to MIDI. I think BOME can do this but it’s not something I have used before.
