I need to upgrade from Hobby 2 to Hobby 4, do I just buy on the link and you can cancel the other or can you switch it at your end?
Also, I was in the venue today and the wifi is terrible so authorising the software was difficult. Then the software was crashing and every time it rebooted, it had to re-authorise, is that just the way it works or is there anything I can do?
You can upgrade your licence directly through the website - there’s no need for me to cancel anything manually. Full instructions are here:

That’s definitely not how it’s supposed to work. You should only need to authorise once, and then the machine stays authorised until the licence renews. It shouldn’t need to re-authorise every time it launches.
If it’s repeatedly asking, that usually means Liberation can’t properly write or read its working folder - so it could be a permissions issue or something preventing files from being saved correctly.
I’d suggest:
Make sure you’re running the latest version.
Reinstall Liberation to ensure everything is set up cleanly.
Check that your working folder is writable and not being blocked by antivirus or macOS security settings.
