Hi Bruce,

I’ve based the nudge system on the one in Ableton Live and these buttons are used to temporarily speed up or slow down the tempo to get back in sync with the music. You will not see any change in the tempo number visually, but it should change the speed internally and you should see the beats getting faster / slower. The longer you hold each button the greater the change. If this isn’t happening for you let me know!

From the manual :

If the Liberation tempo is getting ahead of the music, press and hold NUDGE - to temporarily slow down until it realigns.

If the Liberation tempo is falling behind the music, press and hold NUDGE + to temporarily speed up until it realigns.

So to be clear :

  • You shouldn’t see the tempo BPM number change at all
  • But the tempo should get fasters / slower temporarily while you press it.

Cheers!

Seb

Thanks for the clarification. Wasn’t sure if there was any visual indication of the slowing/speeding action. Makes sense.
