SVG Sequences

Hey Yall! Been diving more into the animations.. im curious on what people are using to create SVG sequences.. I am a graphic designer and have had fun seeing what kind of logos i can get a laser to output.. A single SVG file is no issue.. however im struggling to create a clip animation into a SVG sequence.. I have the adobe sweet and im assuming the tools i need are available.. just curious on how some of you are creating your SVG sequences… (I can create clip animations inside of Photoshop but its not allowing me the option to export a “SVG sequence” just as MP4..) possibly Adobe Express? any tips would be great!

Thanks for the help!

Hi @Chris_Bower!

I really like KeyShape for making SVG animations - it’s pretty simple and lightweight but it works well. It can also import Lottie files, (which you can download on https://lottiefiles.com).

If you’d rather stay in the Adobe world, Adobe Animate (the old Flash) might be worth a look. I did manage to get SVG sequences out of it a few years back, though it was a bit fiddly and needed an extra plugin for proper SVG export. Still, could be fun to experiment with if you’ve already got it!

Hope this helps, and let me know how you get along!
