I just think it has to be said how grateful I (and I think a LOT of others) are for Liberation and your incredible work, I can’t begin to understand how you can be so responsive on here, while building amazing industry-rippling software, implementing features based on the forum and what is well needed in the scene. Getting into lasers is actually fun and affordable now, being part of the community and the forum has brought me so much insights in what to do/buy etc.
So again, THANK YOU and please never stop doing whatever you do
Agreed! I’ve been wanting to get into lasing for more than a decade, but the software options never had anything that made me think “I’d actually enjoy using that every day”. Liberation changed that enough I finally bought not one, but two scanners
Thanks so much for the kind words, everyone - it honestly means a lot. I don’t do this for the praise (though I’m always happy to hear it!) - I do it because I believe in making intuitive software that frees your creativity and helps you make amazing things. My proudest achievement so far is helping build what I truly believe is the most welcoming and supportive laser community in the world.
A lot of the work behind the scenes is invisible and sometimes pretty thankless (not just Windows sound drivers lol), so it really means a lot to hear that you’re enjoying the software. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Liberation “in the wild” - whether that’s at shows, festivals, or even in your living rooms.
So please keep posting your photos and videos, share your experiences, and tag me when you can.
Seeing what you create is the best motivation in the world, and we’re only just getting started. I can’t wait to see where you all take Liberation in the years to come.
