Hi, I’m an embedded hardware and software developer working with companies such as Disguise, Arkaos, and PMC. For many years I’ve run a small lighting rig as a hobby which I’ve been expanding recently. In the 90s I ran a hacky collection of Argon and HeNe lasers at underground parties, with my own even hackier software, alongside my day job of developing Laser Tag game systems.
Recently I bought four old (but still lovely) 3.6W heads from Adam at Frickin Lasers and have been experimenting with synced video and laser projection mapping using MadMapper/MadLaser. I hope to get back into beam shows and that’s why my interest in Liberation was sparked. I’m just waiting on Apple to ship my Mac then I hope I can provide useful feedback as a relatively inexperienced laserist but very experienced finder of bugs!
