Hi,
my name is Max Jöhnk. I’m a software developer from Germany and DJ on the side.
I’m volunteering in a club where we introduce the youth to event management and live performing of music. We’ve also got a setup with two lasers and a quite old version of Phoenix Showcontroller running there which I’m aiming to replace with Liberation, at least for the events where I’m the LJ.
Since joining this club I’ve worked on my own lighting software as the one we’ve used before (Freestyler) was not really working well for me. Once upon a time I also thought I could integrate laser support in there as well though this is quite far down in the backlog as building my own laser control software also feels quite scary.
For that reason I’m really happy that I’ve found liberation and I’m looking forward to integrate it with my own software in the future.
