Hello. I am new to the group so I wanted to introduce myself, while also asking for a little help.
I’m curious how the effects buttons (solo & record) are meant function. I assumed they would just trigger the corresponding buttons in Liberation, but only my S button is working. I can click the effects with the mouse pointer in the software, but the record buttons next to the solo buttons are not doing anything. My APC controller is fairly new. Any ideas?

I also realized that the record buttons do not work, but did not further investigate it. Thought they are just not mapped.

@stevewallet I think that KC is talking about the S and • buttons above each fader, which should indeed trigger the associated effect on screen so I’m not at all sure what’s going on there! It certainly works here at least. Anyone else have this problem?
It’s an APC40 Mk2, right? Is it one of the new batch?

Yes! Those are the buttons. I’m not exactly sure what batch my APC came from.
It might be worth opening up another app to see if you can receive MIDI notes from those buttons. Otherwise maybe restart the APC and liberation to make sure it gets initialised properly?

I try it again on Sunday when running my lightshow in my stream 
I have an old mk2.
I had an issue with my controller similar to this where some of the buttons in the lower half of the controller weren’t working properly. It turned out to be a ribbon cable inside had been pinched and damaged. I replaced the ribbon cable and it went back to normal. As Seb says, best open another program like logic and see if those buttons are functioning.
