I’m Nate based in Chicago. I’ve always been interested in stage and club lighting as an enthusiast but I have a reason to teach myself - I’m producing a concert and laser/fireworks show for my wedding weekend next year.
I have 3x Shehd 3w RGB machines connected to a Helios DAC trio. Complimented by a few DMX lasers as well: Newfeel 2.2w RGB black cube laser, 3x Sumger RGB DJ lasers, and a Shehd 6x500mw moving head laser bar.
Hi Nate. I’d love to hear more about your pyro-musical setup (maybe on a new thread) and how you’re integrating lasers into it. I have a Cobra wireless firing system which includes an audio player that outputs timecode. I’ve run this into my lighting desk in the past to run a timecoded show. I’m hoping there will be some way to trigger Liberation from this in future for a full pyro, luminaire, video and laser synchronised show. Right now I can do it with MadLaser but Liberation has such a superior interface for a beam show.

I haven’t gotten there yet - I’m exploring different options for connected firing controllers. I’ll keep you posted tho!
What are you using to control the 6x500mw laser? I have two of those too!
