Hello, I’m Kassie. I’m a trans software dev in the US, doing software dev in both my free time and professionally. I used to to lighting work for a religious organization in a past life, occasionally messing with lasers while I was there (although rarely). I just ordered my own laser though, and one side project I’m considering working on soon is fairly exciting - creating lasers in Minecraft, using particle effects to draw the beams, and emulating EtherDream DACs to allow controlling them.
