Code of conduct update

Hi everyone,

I’ve made a small update to the Liberation Code of Conduct.

Nothing major has changed - the aim was just to make things clearer and easier to follow. We’ve tidied up the wording, made the structure a bit cleaner, and added a bit more guidance around keeping discussions useful and focused.

A couple of things you might notice:

  • clearer guidance on avoiding low-effort or repetitive posts, so the forum stays a useful resource
  • encouragement to search before starting new threads and add context when asking questions
  • the real-name guidance we talked about previously is now reflected more clearly in the document
  • a slightly clearer explanation of how moderation works

I prefer to take a light-touch approach to moderation, but I do think it’s important to protect the community from too much noise and unfocused or rambling threads - something that forums like this can easily drift into.

If you haven’t read it before (or in a while), it’s here:

As always, if anything doesn’t feel right or you’ve got suggestions, just say.

Thanks for being part of the community

Seb
