…because it might not be what you hoped. It might be even better…
Have you ever started to read a book and like one hour later you turn the page and it’s says “chapter one” and realize that you just got through the preface and the story only starts now. That’s how I’m feeling rn.

I thought I would have been up and running two days ago. I ran into several different snags. The largest was the USB extender over cat cable. Turns out the receiver was blown, and I was unaware after I built everything and was just ready to fire up. Made the discovery tried to make do with a back up extender I had, but unfortunately, this one only extends keyboard mouse and monitor, nothing else. By a stroke of good luck, I was able to find an extender on marketplace brand new same model for a little cheaper than retail and it worked. It will be nice having a second transmitter and so I can hopefully have two separate lines running in the Space one for short and one for far back. I made this extension poll to push the curtains over and it is a huge hand for opening it and closing the lids of the lasers. Lastly, just before I started up two heads weren’t working. Forgot the keys. I’ve pretty much had to make every mistake in the book to get this running and it feels really good to finally after a year of basically being dark with the exception of a couple beams this summer and really the first time I’ve actually seen these in a real room with fog. It’s quite the sight and obviously I’m really happy and there is more to come!
