Seconding option to “View” “Preview of outputs” while not in clip editor. It’d help a lot with creating timelines without the lasers on.
I’m not 100% sure what you mean but I couldn’t see any relevant points in the original post you replied to so I moved it to a new topic!
I think you want the “Scrub” feature? The light bulb in the timeline. It will keep the lasers on while paused. But be careful because you can burn stuff if the beams all stop moving!
All the best
Seb
For me it will be nice when your click somewhere on the timeline to see real-time 3d visualization of the lasers in preview without pressing play button (does not have be connected to laser output it self). This way it i can be better understanding the scene in time when i`m just jumping it the timeline window and searching for right point in time. maybe it can be turned on but i didn’t find it.
It would be a useful feature (if it`s not exist already).

Hi Robert,
That’s exactly the Scrub feature I mentioned in my previous reply. If you enable the light-bulb icon in the timeline you can click anywhere in the timeline and it will render that moment immediately without pressing play.
Just be careful doing this with real lasers connected, as beams will stay stationary while paused.

yes it is working … i was trying it but i somehow it didn’t work then (maybe before i was without license ?) , but it works now… my bad .
Thank you .
No problem - glad it’s working now.
Just for clarity, the licence only affects how many lasers you can arm. It doesn’t change how the rest of the software behaves.
Hey @seb - I was specifically speaking about this preview, shown in the software. The 3d visualizer just doesn’t show the endpoints.. maybe I need to change some settings in the 3d visualizer.. Not sure..
Ah thanks I think I understand now. I’ve changed this topic and will consider this.
