I saw in the videos on youtube that in future updates there will be tools available to do projection mapping.
I wonder if it will be possible to import the 3d model of the building or at least a reference image, if there will be the option to generate animations of the outlines, and of course if a tutorial will be made available that explains in depth how to do the whole process.

currently you can import a guide image into the canvas, and then show the canvas in the 3D view.
Documentation is in progress 
but I hope this helps. I believe I went through this in one of the zoom calls so have a hunt around.
