I just opened Liberation to play with, but i said clear all. Now I can’t find the showfile for the default show, which had a lot of interesting clips. Where can I find it?
Looks nice so far by the way. Looking forward to connect a laser to it.

Thanks, but it does not work. when loading, nothing happens. Resp. first I tried to import it under file. Then the hole software crashes. When loading under Import Clip Deck, it does not crash, but nothing happens. Best Jonas
Can you try using “Clips/Effects - import Clip Deck”?
(Import / Export requires a bit more error checking so apologies for that.)
Ah I read that you tried that but it didn’t work, perhaps your system got corrupted.
But if you clear out your sandbox folder the app should reset next time you start :
- exit Liberation
- open a terminal
- navigate to the sandbox folder
cd ~/Library/Containers/co.seblee.Liberation/Data/data
- open the folder
open .
- zip up everything in the window that opens and send me the file to test:
- go back up a level and delete the ‘data’ folder
- restart Liberation - you should be restored to the default clip deck and laser settings.
Note that this does destroy all your settings so use with care. Good luck and let me know how you get along!
