I’m moving this forum to a single sign-on (SSO) system soon. This means you’ll be able to log in with your Liberation website account directly - no more separate logins!
Please check that the email address on your forum account matches the one you use on the Liberation website.
Otherwise, a new account will be created for you here under your Liberation email, and you won’t be able to access your old posts under the previous login.
If you were previously a Patreon supporter or never set up a Liberation account, you’ll need to register on the main site here: Register on the website. Make sure to use the same email address as your forum account.

Hi Seb … i see I’m in the list above @karldawson … I’m not quite sure why as i have just logged into my Liberation account and all seems ok, monthly transactions are processed and invoiced, it may be the fact that even though i have been supporting you since the beginning, i have not actually downloaded the Liberation software yet (apart from the first patreon Beta release a couple of years ago) i know this sounds strange but the intention was to eventually get involved, but another part of my life needed more input so im yet to get my Laser Rig up and running, but i have enjoyed the progress that you have made and watching each release with added improvements is fantastic … anyway if you can you let me know why im on the list above it would be much apreciated. all the best … Karl
Hi Karl, thanks for checking in and for supporting Liberation from the very start - I really appreciate it.
The reason your name showed up on that list is simply because the email address on your forum account is different from the one you use on the Liberation website. When I move the forum to single sign-on, it relies on matching emails to connect your existing forum posts with your Liberation account.
If the emails don’t match, the forum will create a brand-new account for you under your Liberation email, and your old posts will stay tied to the old login. To avoid that, the easiest thing is just to update your forum email so it matches your Liberation account email.
Nothing else to worry about - once they match, everything will carry across smoothly.
From now on you’ll log in here with your Liberation website account - no more separate forum email and password.
If your forum email and Liberation account email already match, you don’t need to do anything — you’re good to go. If they don’t match, you may find a new forum account has been created when you log in. Don’t worry — just let me know and I can merge your accounts so you keep all your posts and history.
