Etherdream upgrade from helios

Do I need to do anything to get an etherdream working as a replacement for a Helios DAC? I have removed two of the Helios DACs I had working and replace them with ED4 devices. I can see the IPs i configured them as in the sitter.exe so I know they are on the network. Rebooted several times as well. liberation sees the etherdreams and I can add them but for whatever reason, after I arm all, I’m only seeing data going to the Helios DACs.

Here is the output:

In the 3d visualizer, I’m not seeing the laser switch on either. Note in the above output, you can see data going to laser 3 (the Helios DAC) but the first two lasers are flat (the etherdream 4s).

The ED4s have the power light on and the interlock and data lights are solid as well.

It all looks good to me!

Do you definitely have zones in those ether dream lasers? Check the OUTPUT view.

It might also be worth checking the brightness settings for those lasers.

And finally, try resetting the lasers to their default settings.

It’s late here so I probably can’t check again until tomorrow morning so let me know if you figure it out!

Thanks for your suggestions. The zone mapping had to be redrawn for whatever reason. After doing that, they all work as expected. Getting good at zone mappings! Love alt zones btw. I use that function quite a bit. Thanks! No more Helios DACs. Yaay!

Great, glad to hear you got it sorted! There have been some edge case bugs with the zone editor, I’ve been working on that system in the last couple of days and I think (hope) they’ll be resolved in the next build.

Glad you like the alt zones! What do you use them for?
