Canvas and Abstract test

Here is another quick and dirty vid exploring 3 projectors merging 3 canvas for one output. Not sure if I am setting it up the best way but i am getting the results I’ve envisioned. It’s a bit of a hot mess at times given brush as a backdrop. I was throwing the send effects to liven up the clips and audio isn’t synced. In one of the Zooms, I think Seb said fader one send ( stock effect) was one of his favourites. I disagreed - I don’t really like it on beams (yet) HOWEVER, on graphics/ canvas OH BOY. The discomposure/ discombobulation it produces is Fan-frikkin tastic! Attached is a photo of my frugal-laserist setup! I used an old chiropractic foam wedge that I can never seem to throw away and found the down angle on the ladder provided good coverage.

If you are reading this and are doing canvas stuff - please post some clips / vids. I’d love to see your work… it will help us all to move this project forward.

It’s so nice to see someone using the canvas zones, and it looks amazing on the trees!

(I’m tempted to call the Randomiser effect the Discombobulator from now on)

Discombobulation at work….

After some thought, it feels like it is a scatter effect to me.

Looks amazing, projecting that wide on those trees
Must have been so much cooler with the depth effect from the trees

Tbh, the zoning guide was probably the trippiest…

Volumetric laser effects are the best :star_struck:
